OUR HOUSE wins a Nibbie!

Well, this is one plot twist few could have predicted - and definitely not me! OUR HOUSE has only gone and won the 2019 British Book Awards Book of the Year: Crime & Thriller! It was the most exciting evening, exactly the Oscars/Baftas vibe you would imagine, with stars like David Walliams and Ruth Jones in attendance at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The Crime & Thriller Award was right at the beginning, so once I'd stammered out an acceptance speech and given a red-faced interview backstage, I was free to re-join the Simon & Schuster table for some serious champagne and gin drinking. Hands down, the best evening of my career. Thank you to all who bought, reviewed and recommended OUR HOUSE - there has been a strong word-of-mouth element to its success, which means every individual supporter has helped make this happen for me.
