I have big exciting news! OUR HOUSE is going to be an ITV drama! A four-part series will be filmed in 2021, bringing to the screen the web of lies Fi discovers when she comes home one day to find out her house has been sold without her knowledge. The screenwriter Simon Ashdown is an award-winning genius and, from what I’ve seen so far of his script, he has done the book justice and then some. I’ll share news of casting as I have it – can’t wait to see who will play Fi and Bram – and other developments. Basically, you have no choice but to join me for this televisual ride!

When I was growing up in the Midlands town of Northampton in the 1980s, I'd regularly dive into Jackie Collins' fictional world of sunshine and palm trees and movie stars and I'd dream of being there too, right at the pool's edge. Then the bodycount would start to rise and I'd be glad to be in the Midlands, after all.
